Myntra Fashion Weekend 2014 Ends On A High Note

For the first-time in India, International shopping cum runway format in a three-day extravaganza co-curated by Vogue India Myntra Fashion Weekend 2014.

Pop-ups from across the country had showcase their best wares, curated by the fashionable folks and Models at Vogue. Exclusive three day fest had stores that sell everything from clothing and home dcor to accessories and confectionaries.

Myntra Fashion Weekend was full of entertainment packed weekend with full of  live acts, thrilling performances by famous musicians and fun activities. Moving to the beats of exciting live bands, laughing hearts out to stand-up comics or taking part in talk show sessions with opinion leaders at the entertainment packed Vogue Fest’s Performance Area.

Food, Fashion And Music Ends Day Two At Myntra Fashion Weekend 2014 On A High Note

Food, fashion, Pop-Up shops and music were a great mix for shoppers and that is what it was all about at Myntra Fashion Weekend 2014. D.I.Y fun like paint your shoes at Vans, block print your dupatta with Rain and Rainbow and experiment with hair at BBlunt were some of the things that kept the tempo of the event in top gear.  Here was an event that had something for everyone to heat up the coming months of festivity.

The eagerly awaited afternoon show starts with the “Joi de Vivre” collection of saris from Mandira, whose variety of glittering insets gives a new dimension to the Indian drape.

Women who long for those cocktail statement-making saris need look no further, since Mandira’s impeccable tastes will turn them into style icons when they make a stylish entry in her creations. Stylish Model/Actress Lisa Haydon Handpicks Three Exciting International Brands

Hot sexy star of the hit film “Queen” Lisa Haydon handpicks from the “Little Mistress” collection created by the well-known UK Group; a line-up of three collections that will turn every woman into a super star wherever she goes. ambassador Lisa Haydon who handpicked the garments for the show said, “The idea of the show was to put together fun party and work-wear looks for young Indian women using some gorgeous bold as well as pastel shades. I wanted to bring forth some of my favourite pieces which have beautiful detailing, are luxurious and are a statement of feminine style, strength and elegance. Lisa Haydon who handpicked the collection takes the ramp to end the show, looking absolutely stunning in a smudgy print will-power gown with an elasticised back from the “Little Mistress” label.


When India’s handsome Greek God Bollywood super star, Hrithik Roshan presented his HRX fitness and lifestyle brand at Myntra Fashion Week 2014, all traffic and heartbeats nearly stopped. It was a collection that was Bang on the fashion target.

“I had a fabulous time walking the ramp for my brand HRX, and I hope the people who attended the show enjoyed it as well. The label is all about fashion forward styles, amazing fits, at affordable prices, perfect for the young men in India. I’ve walked the ramp after a very long time and doing so for the closing show of Myntra Fashion Weekend has been such a fantastic experience”, said Hrithik Roshan. 

 With the wildly screaming audience asking for more, Hrithik Roshan looking every inch like a Greek God descended from heaven, bringing the house on its feet as he strut down in a casual grey jacket, brown trousers and a printed tee as flashlights lit up the ramp.
