Tourism Authority of Thailand hosted a grand evening in Mumbai to thank key partners
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) on March 22, 2013, hosted a grand ‘A Million Thanks’ evening at Shangri-La Hotel, Mumbai. The event celebrated the crossing of the one million mark of tourist arrivals from India last year. TAT hosted this evening to thank its key trade, corporate and media partners who have helped to make Thailand a number one tourist destination.
Gracing the event, Mr. Suraphon Svetasreni, Governor of TAT, Bangkok, said, “I am humbled to see such love from Indians and especially from our key partners who are a part of the celebration today. Seeing such support only strengthens and reaffirms my belief in our relationship. I am thankful to each one of them for contributing to our success and I hope to see this continued support and love for Thailand.”
Among other dignitaries gracing the event were Bollywood glam girl Sophie Chaudhary, Mr. Sethaphan Buddhani, Director – TAT, Mumbai, and His Excellency, Nat Pinyowattanacheep, Thai Consulate (SHOULD THIS NOT BE Consul) General. The entire travel trade fraternity was also present at the event.
The event was held in association with Lonely Planet Magazine India.
