 Known to make movies that leave you shaken and not stirred, National Award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar introduced his Heroine on Wednesday night to the media. No we are not talking about an actress here, we are talking about the first trailer of his next movie, Heroine. It was a trailer launch that saw almost everyone reach in time, be patient and ecstatic with what the wait had been all about. Present for the same were CEO and Founder Chairman of UTV Group, Mr. Ronnie Screwvala, CEO UTV Motion Pictures, Mr. Siddharth Roy Kapoor, actress Kareena Kapoor, actor Arjun Rampal and actress Divya Dutta. UTV Motion Pictures and Bhandarkar Entertainment’s film Heroine will release on 21st September 2012.

The evening was started by Mr. Kapoor, who called upon Madhur to introduce his movie and end everyone’s patient wait. “How can I begin without thanking you all for the continuous support you all have shown me in my career of 11 years! It is your love and support that keeps me going and thank you seems like an understatement for this. I hope you like my Heroine as much as you have liked my previous movies,” said Madhur.

Amidst all the whistles, cheers and applause, the trailer was played twice leaving everyone asking for more. “Jalwa tha ki nahi?” asked Madhur and the crowd roared in cheer. Divya and Arjun addressed the crowd and the spoke the lady of the moment. “I am so happy that you’ll have liked the trailer. This is a very special movie for me and it was a brilliant experience working with Madhur. Heroine is going to carve a different niche in my career,” said a visible excited Kareena.
